SISTER BITCH
Lucy Wild and Therese Ronco collaboratively created Sister Bitch, a dance piece focused on the pulling together and separation of two individuals. With the intent of documentation, the video attempts to capture what is feels like to actively watch dance – focusing on the details in movement as well as the moments of synchronization and separation.
The photo diptychs, taken from the footage, attempt to push that idea into the photographic. Isolating still moments, but pairing them to create a sense of movement.
